Great brain training with lots of games
I am a Vietnam Veteran and have always since coming home, thought of myself as ADD. I always had that problem but overall I see myself getting worse. Age has a lot to do with slowing down but I am easily dis- tracked buy everything. I got this to teach myself to concentrate better. Im glad I got it. Anything helps!
A lot of variety really keeps your interest up. Plus its really so much fun!!
Please please please get rid of emotional intelligence or at least give the opportunity to bypass it. I dont really care who wrote this program there is no real life application in that section and its totally frustrating. I have friends who use Lumosity, and if I have to keep dealing with that piece, I will change on renewal.
I have been using this app for the last 2 weeks. I have fibromyalgia which is not on the list of conditions but causes a symptom called "brain fog". The days I have brain fog are really scary to me. Days of pain and fatigue interrupt my ability to focus. Im hoping this game helps me to function at a higher level even on the bad days. Since starting I have been more productive but it could be the placebo effect. Either way Ill take it. Interesting reviews on the emotional intelligence. It seems to be the buzz word in the business setting. Sometimes I do well and sometimes not. Yes the faces which Ive only done once was challenging but well see what happens as I continue to play.
Useful app to spend few minutes of time everyday.
Im a business woman, fresh out of a masters level program. This program is great for keeping skills fresh and challenging myself in other skills that I wouldnt necessarily work on. In terms of the emotional intelligence portion, I simply love it! Emotional intelligence is the big buzz word in the business world at the moment. One of the reasons I signed up for this program is specifically for the emotional intelligence part. Great program!
Constantly crashes, score keeping is all whack, and no one seems to care to fix it. Not worth the money.
Great way to exercise your mental capacity in a stress-less environment! Progress is mapped on a continual basis which facilitates the exercise process!
I really do enjoy this app and what it has to offer. I think the emotional intelligence part is a little much though. Id advise to do more on other aspects or even do something more personal like a test to get to know our personality color so we can find out our strengths and weaknesses, etc.
I agree with #3 reviewer that the emotional intelligence games are repetitive and I think, again? Also, I agree with the scenarios that they are frequently cut off in mid sentence, leaving it for the player to suggest an end to the scenario. It seems that there used to be more variety in brain challenging games a couple of years ago than now. All in all, I enjoy the games and attempt to do them everyday for mental exercise.
The instructions are hard to follow. You will burn through errors just trying to figure out what it is they expect you to do in order to train. It would help if Rosettas designers came up with examples of an exercise being worked prior to your doing a set.
Ive definitely seen differences. I try to do it every night. This is the first time Ive ever even paid for an app. The one thing I would like, is instead of explaining the game, show a quick video example or allow a practice round. Would love that. Having more than one paid user on the same device is klunky. That needs to be fixed.
Appreciate and am encouraged by the apps feedback concerning progress being made! Positive reinforcement fuels a dormant competitive nature. Quite enjoyable! Do Not Disturb when I am exercising my brain!
This app is helping me learn and do things I didnt know I was going to do again or quickly or even understand anymore! Im building confidence in so many aspects of myself and my life. Ive noticed positive changes in a short time and look forward too experience more. Slow and steady, a step at a time, lesson by lesson, each day doing my work, Ill get there! Thanks for your helpful app! And caring enough about people like myself out in the world that matter, count, and still have something to offer to this world, to give a tool not a toy too really help. Thanks again!
This game starts with where you are and help you to develop parts of your brain that you want to work on! It gets more challenging as you go! Well done!
Games are not appealing and confusing
I love to see how my performance score improves...though on days I think I do really badly, it is still higher than the previous day. It takes a couple trials to get the hang of a "game" but is fun to see how I score against others. Occasionally a game freezes up. Have not been able to find a place to report this.
I be done this exercise for several years already & my mind is in a better shape than my body. I love it
First of all I really enjoy all the cognitive exercises and find them useful valuable and fun. But the emotional exercises are badly done and really dumb. Identifying emotions on faces? They show you some pretty crappy actors not really expressing a particular emotion but rather mugging for a camera pretending to have that emotion. So as a user youre not so much faced with identifying an emotion but rather guessing which emotion the app is trying to portray. Most of the time I just skip it. Not worth the aggravation.
